Before being elected as Newton County Tax Commissioner in 2024, Mr. Brent Bennett served as the Director of Regulatory Compliance for the Georgia Department of Driver Services, overseeing safety programs and regulatory operations. With over 20 years of public service experience, including leadership roles at the Georgia Department of Revenue and DeKalb County Tax Commissioner’s Office, Mr. Bennett brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to serving Newton County residents.
